BARIATRIC CHAIR

	BARIATRIC CHAIR These chairs are for the over 35 stone client. They have 4 motors, one to power the footrest, one for the back and two for the lift operation. The metal frame is manufactured using 2” box steel. The footrest has a leg lift capacity of 25 stones. There are two seat widths available, 2ft 6” and 3ft, which are 40 stone and 60 stone lift respectively. The Royal is a practical chair with large supportive wings. Its modern style incorporates 3 bolster cushions, which all have zipped backs to enable the user to create their own personalised comfort. Its versatility makes it one of the most popular styles of chair available. 	This is a mechanism that operates using 2 motors. One motor operates the footrest of the chair and the other motor operates the back. A mechanism that lifts and reclines using 1 motor. This mechanism only requires 4-5” of clearance behind the chair to recline.

The Regent is a classic looking flat backed chair with large wings. The chair is complimented with a luxurious head roll, which adds to the comfort of this foam back. This chair also has the added benefit of the back being able to be manufactured if required using vasco foam, therefore providing the perfect solution to pressure management.

Rise & Recline Ltd have identified the need for a range of static chairs that are manufactured to the individuals specific needs. This can range from extra wide for the heavier client (Up to 35 stones) or higher for a taller client. Upholstered in the customers choice of fabric.

	Arm Caps The detachable covers slide over the front of the arms of the chair, adding extra protection.	Head Cover An extra cover for the upper part of the back cushion.

The user has the facility to control the speed and intensity of each zone.	Gel Pressure Seating The Gel pads that we have opted for are produced using a Viscous Gel so as to avoid point loading and give cumulative benefit for comfort and relief to the user.	Fabric Protection The chairs can be treated with McKlords fabric protection to help maintain the fabrics original quality.

The user has the facility to control the speed and intensity of each zone.	Side Transfer Removable Arm This option is to enable your client to transfer from a wheelchair into a rise & recline chair with minimal difficulty. The arm is removed before transfer and then replaced once the transfer has been completed.	Hazard Sensors This system is designed to reduce the risk of entrapment and is offered as an additional safety option for your user.
Vasco Pressure Seating For added comfort and relief in your chair Vasco 60 pressure relief foam can be fitted within the upholstered seat.
